Catastrophism
04:44
|
|||
We're living through the catastrophe
We're living through the time of hell
Falling on a desperate spell
The final chapter - the total end
The last human progress stage
Evolution to self-extinction phase
Still, the blind is leading the blind
While the vultures circle the dying
The sword of Domicles dangles over our head
There's no way out the circle of death
The last human progress stage
Evolution to self-extinction phase
Is it true the doors are closing
Follow the leaders and you will survive it
Desperate to hold on the privileges of power
They wave the spectre of catastrophism
The last human progress stage
Evolution to self-extinction phase
Same old lies
Like trapped in ice
You can't offer solutions
When the problem is you
Commentary:
A slimy amalgam of world leaders/politicians/media people, seen that the catastrophe they have lead us to, cannot be possibly hidden any longer, have now switched to the stratagem of using the very same catastrophe to scare us into submission once more.

No Hope In Fear
02:12
|
|||
They keep us divided
Confused alienated
Lost in the dark
To follow the herd
No hope in fear
They want us connected
monitored updated
Gripped by the fear
Of constant surveillance
No hope in fear
They'd like us subservient
Devoid of privacy
Brainwashed to obedience
Not angry as we are
No hope is fear
Internet introduction was never met with the amount of criticism it really deserved by the punk community. We can now see the deep changes it introduced and what it really is: just another stage in the industrial revolution, depriving humanity farther of their liberties.
I'm still angry as fuck

Destroy To Create
02:44
|
|||
We live in the age of environmental collapse
Past the point of no return
We witness a system falling apart
Failing us all
The age of extinction - Is this the age of extinction?
We have inherited a wasted land
Fucked beyond repair
It's up to us - the choice is ours
Rage or despair
The age of extinction - Is this the age of extinction?
So are we to give up
And resign to defeat
Or are we to rise up
And take up the fight
When the system collapses new chances arise
The future must be ours
Destroy the system that destroys you
Create a new world
Destroy to create - destroy to create!
Commentary:
In a world as fucked as ours, our only real choice is to vent our avenging rage against this monster. Only then we may have a chance to say we have truly lived life. And maybe even take a future back?

Nuclear Fear
03:23
|
|||
We live under threat
Of nuclear disasters
Like Fukushima
To happen again
Constant looming disaster - nuclear fear
Don't believe the hype
The spinning of lies
Nuclear ain't green
But a lethal device
Constant looming disaster - nuclear fear
Commentary:
In some quarters, nuclear energy is seen as a green alternative to fossil fuels.
Green capitalism is no real alternative, and it will only lead to a deeper level of exploitation and depleting (read destruction) of natural resources

There is no tomorrow
No dreams of new dawns
But there's no need for sorrow
Let's just live for today
If there is no tomorrow - there's still a today
We have hope of a future
But anger today
When you've got nothing to loose
You've got nothing to fear
If there is no tomorrow - there's still a today
Commentary:
They have already taken our future away from us. Let's not give 'em our present too!

Rebellion Extinction
02:13
|
|||
Extinction Rebellion are a farce
A cover operation and a scam
A genuine instinct to revolt
Is channelled into a safe path
Extinction Rebellion or rather rebellion extinction?
Posing as radical protest
A lobbing group is disguise
Sustainable extinction
Green ecological suicide
Extinction Rebellion or rather rebellion extinction?
Lobbying the government for their interests
They hide their real purposes
Dressed as progressive reform
Exploiting popular malcontent - scum
Extinction Rebellion are a farce
A cover operation and a scam
A genuine instinct to revolt
Is channelled into a safe path
Extinction Rebellion or rather rebellion extinction?
Commentary:
Extinction Rebellion rank and file members may honestly believe they are struggling for a better future. But their leaders are effectively diverging their efforts for their own means, towards what is just new phase of a greener rejuvenated capitalism.

Never Conform
02:05
|
|||
You think you can play their game
Well, think again
You play by their rules
You get treated like fools
Why do you conform
Since when digitalisation
Got hold of you
Recuperation
Was the end of you
Why do you conform
You think you can change the world
By sticking to a book?
A brunch of PC rules
I think its fucking bullshit
You think you can play their game
Well, think again
You play by their rules
You get treated like fools
Why do you conform - never conform
Commentary:
We have witnessed, since the rise of social media, a rise in anarchists and punks switching to mainstream politics, starting for example, to vote in political elections.
What were once proud rebels standing at the edge of society have been recuperated into conformists who swapped radical ideals for a tame harmless political correctness. I think its fucking bullshit!

Upper Crust Elite
02:00
|
|||
Taller than you
I stand taller than you
In the senseless game of
Ego boasting
Our scene is torn apart - by the upper crust elite
Punker than you
I am cooler than you
Thats how divisions and status
Are introduced
Our scene is torn apart - by the upper crust elite
Commentary:
It seems like we have not learned from our past mistakes. In punk, there is still some people that see themselves as cooler than others. This is simply idiotic elitism that is dividing the punk scene and crippling its real capabilities and radical possibilities

Trample down
The bloody pieces of hope
And be scared of
Death shadow
Children lost the bright future
In the corners of the darkness
Wriggle in pain
During all days
You still have
You still have
Children lost the bright future
In the corners of the darkness
